Thornly Park Village
CALA Homes (West), Barratt Homes and Bellway Homes propose to build a high quality and attractive housing development called Thornly Park Village on surplus land at Dykebar Hospital on the south east edge of Paisley. Properties will range from one bedroom apartments to five bedroom villas.
Paisley is a popular place to live and these new properties will help to meet the need for new homes in the town. As part of the plans, approximately 43% of the site would be retained as recreational and open space including a central meadowland, playgrounds, a football kickabout area and mature woodland through which new paths will be provided.
The site has been identified in Renfrewshire Council’s Local Development Plan as being suitable to accommodate housing.
Dykebar Hospital will remain as an operational facility with proceeds from the sale being reinvested in front line health services.
